 NEW        'Maximilian' adorable old Steiff Bear

Maximillian is a truly adorable old boy everybody loves him - he is just that sort of big cuddly bear! He is a large Steiff bear standing at 20" (50cm) he has the honey blonde mohiar of the 1940s Steiff bears and a really old look to him, raised script button in ear. . He is in really good clean old condition with an endearing expression. His eyes are glass, his nose threads have had some added stitches to them, his felt pads are original with some darns and some age discolouration. his old tilt growler long since stopped working, he has gentle age wear to his mohiar in places - he looks old now but he is a really strong bear who we adore he is highly recommended.  He now looks for someone to love him applications please!!

NEW 'Bruno' rare 1947-1952 USA Zone Steiff bear with button in ear.

  Adorable USA Zone (1947-1952) rare brown Steiff bear. He is a handsome fellow in way above usual condition a really good example. He has a raised script button in ear and remains at the seam of his USA Zone cloth label still visible on the right back arm seam.  He is a good size 13" (33cm)  He has glass eyes a very early look to him having a long muzzle, very long arms and big feet with a hump on his back. His brown mohair is still in really good condition with some gentle age wear at the seams to his face, muzzle but overall this bear still has 95% mohair remaining (unusual for a brown as so many suffer with large mohair loss by this age). His fur is a good dark colour still, his squeaker no longer works as is typical.  His felt paw pads are original and very good with some age marks stains to them a few small holes show the woodwool beneath.  He is a lovely rare bear who comes highly recommended.

  'PEACHIE'  Price £250

Peachie is a very unusual small steiff bear having mohair fur that has a definate peachie tone to it. she is not white and she is not caramel or gold/blonde. The nearest in her colour are the early mask steiff bears that sometimes were a peachie colour if you know them her fur looks the same but my camera cannot capture the colour!! It is a pale colour with a distinct peachie tone to it. Raised script button in ear.  Her height is 9" - 23cm approx. she has glass eyes, a working squeaker, felt pads are excellent she is in very good old condition few faint marks to them,  c.1950s a very striking bear I have never seen a bear this colour before.  Photo file available on request. She comes wearing her antique peach coloured gown.
