Very old looking golden mohair Steiff bear from the late 1940s with remains of USA zone cloth label in his rear of arm seam. Lovely face to this old boy with a raised script early steiff button in ear, height 17" (43cm) he has had his paw pads replaced a long time ago, eyes have some wear to the brown painted backs. tilt growler still works very well, 4 claws to each paw. some wear to his mohiar in places he has about 75% mohair overall remaining with thinning to his head, feet, muzzle, tummy mostly. He looks a really old Steiff bear a superb character.

' WISTFUL ' Superb Old Steiff bear with button
'Wistful' is a beautiful very old German Steiff bear c.early 1950s, she is the larger size of 40cm (16") and in way above average condtion. She is a really pretty bear with lots of caramel mohiar still, with her glass eyes she just looks adorable! Amazingly her felt pads are original with only one small mark on them! Her tilt growler still works very well, 4 claws to each paw. Steiff bears of this calibre and hardly ever found this is a superb bear for the serous Steiff collector.

TIMMY
Adorable old Steiff teddy bear from the early 1950s who comes wearing his very old hand made drawstring shorts and a hand knitted jumper. He has caramel mohair and is a well loved old bear who has had his paws replaced. He has glass eyes and height is 14.5" (37cm) apprx. With a non working squeaker. Please see all pictures he has overall thinning to his mohair with age he is still a very strong bear. He has a raised script steiff button in ear. Lovely face wonderful bear.
