‘JINGLE’ RARE LARGE VINTAGE MERRYTHOUGHT CHEEKY BEAR, 26″ c.1960s
Jingle is a rare larger size old Merrythought ‘Cheeky’ with bells in his ears. Seldom seen in this large size for his age he is in really good condition with only minor signs of wear. Height standing 26″ (66cm) with early plastic eyes, mohair fur, and original paw pads (small hole in the right-hand paw felt) No longer has his foot pad label but you can see the outline of where it once was. Nelson is a very handsome vintage large bear by the very well-known and regarded bear maker ‘Canterbury Bears’. He stands at 24″ (60cm) to the top of his ears. He is fully jointed with realistic plastic eyes, suede paw pads, a stitched nose and a mouth. He is made in the early style and has a long slim body, and very long tapering hand paws, his fur is a pretty cinnamon colour mohair plush. With soft kapok type filling he is a very cuddly bear. He is in very good clean condition from a smoke-free home. Has his paper swing tag that tells us his name, and his material & foot labels.

Snoozy is a very well-made bear, in the early style he has long tapering hand paws, large feet and a hump on his back. With a shaved muzzle, and boot button-type glass eyes. Frank is an unusual vintage bear from Germany. Height 10.5″ (27cm) to the top of his ears. He is made with jointed legs, and when wound up, plays the song ‘My Way’ and moves his head and arms. He comes wearing the cute knitted jumper that looks original to him. He is made with plush fur mostly with a fabric body under his jumper. No maker’s name on the label, and pre-CE label. So he is some age c.1970s-1980s. Has a stitched nose, mouth and claws. wearing his cute metal glasses. Slight bobbling to his paw pads, clean from a non-smoking home. ADOPTED

She is fully jointed with lovely long thick mohair, very realistic plastic boot button-type eyes, a stitched nose, and a mouth. Height 8″ (20cm) maker’s label on her back seam. Suede paw pads. Comes wearing her cute green waistcoat. Her head was turned to one side in the photos so she is looking at an angle. Lord Ted is a very appealing vintage bear wearing his felt dinner jacket and tartan trousers. He is fully jointed with glass eyes and suede paw pads. Height standing 19″ (48cm) He is made by ‘Pat-A’Bears’ and has their label on his back seam. Some age to him c. the 1980s-2000s. His jacket is not removable as the buttons are sewn on but his trousers are. (The Jacket could be adjusted in the future, to make it easier to take on and off) Clothes have minor signs of age wear. Fluff-Puff is a very beautiful and unusual small bear with a huge personality. She is fully jointed, with very long thick fluffy apricot colour mohair. Her eyes are either glass or a very realistic plastic boot button. Height standing 9.5″ (24cm) Soft suede paw pads, a stitched nose and mouth. She has her certificate attached to her arm, she is one of only 25 made by Bunwell Bears. She also has the maker’s cloth label on her back seam. Vintage some age to her.
