‘KARINA’ LARGE 20”, OLD LATE 40S-EARLY 50S STEIFF BEAR JUST LISTED
Karina has the look of the late 1940s Steiff bear with her long muzzle and appearance. She is a large bear standing at 20” (50cm) she is fully jointed, with glass eyes, and gold mohair. She still has her large Steiff button in ear (raised script, thin letters) and you can still hear her growler when tilted. Though it’s more of a chuckle now. Her wood wool stuffing has settled in her muzzle, and she has lost her mouth stitching. All of which just adds to her unique character.
For her age, she is in good condition and wonderful that she still has her button in ear. There is some age fading to her gold mohair, and thinning of fur mostly around her muzzle & back of her ears. Her original paw pads have some wear to the felt and ‘mummy’ repairs. We are being very hard on her in our description, we could just say she is enchanting as that sums her up the best. She is a wonderful old Steiff with that character and charm that is so sought after and hard to find. ‘WISTFUL’ LARGE OLD EARLY 1950S STEIFF BEAR
Wistful is an adorable large old Steiff bear from the early 1950s. He is an impressive bear standing at 20” (50cm) he has a working tilt growler, glass eyes, with mohair fur. He has been loved and has some age wear to his fur mostly behind his ears, and around his muzzle. He no longer has a button or tags. His felt paw pads are original with some wear mostly to the left-hand paw. There is some settlement to the wood wool on his right upper arm, which causes him no problems.
He has the most adorable wistful face hence his name. He is very clean from a smoke-free home. If you love old Steiff bears with much age character and charm, he is one for you.

‘HONEY’ OLDER STEIFF ‘MASK’ BEAR WITH BUTTON IN EAR c.1960s-70s
Honey is a lovely example of an early Steiff ‘mask bear’ so called as this type of Steiff bear has a heart-shape inset muzzle. Her height standing is 20″ (51cm) the Steiff lentil button dates to being made in the 1960s – 1970s. She has peachy-blonde colour mohair fur, with early realistic plastic eyes (non-safety and slightly scuffed) with material paw pads. For her age she is in good condition with minimal wear, the fur is slightly faded with age. It is getting much harder now to find earlier examples of this type of Steiff bear. ‘SMUDGE’ OLD 1950S STEIFF BEAR WITH BUTTON IN EAR
Smudge is a wonderful old Steiff bear from the 1950s who still has his Steiff button in ear (raised script, thin letters) and a faded yellow stock label. Standing height 14″ (36cm) He is fully jointed with glass eyes, squeaker no longer works. His felt paw pads are original and very good for age few small areas of wear. His mohair overall is really good for his age, with few areas of wear around his muzzle and muzzle mostly see photos. He is a lovely bear. From a non-smoking home.

‘DICKIE’ LOVABLE 1950S-60S STEIFF BEAR
Dickie is a sweet-faced old Steiff bear from the 1950s-60s. He is 11″ tall (28cm) with mohair fur, his eyes are early realistic plastic (non-safety) his felt paw pads are very good for age with just one minor area of wear to a foot felt. ‘ELANA’ VERY RARE 1960S LARGE OLD STEIFF BEAR with button & stock tag
Elana is a very rare old Steiff bear from the 1960s. She is an early Steiff ‘mask bear’ so called as they have a heart-shaped muzzle area. Seldom seen in this size of 26″ (66cm) even rarer to find one in such good condition for her age. She has blonde mohair fur, a working tilt growler. Steiff button in the ear (raised script, thin letters) a yellow stock label with EAN number 0201:66 this with her type of button dates her to being made in the 1960s. Her fabric paws are intact with just a few faint small marks. Eyes are early non-safety type realistic plastic.
She is very clean from a smoke-free home. So adorable she is truly enchanting. We have never had one this size and colour before so certainly one for the collector of more rare older Steiff bears in very good condition. Email for her photo file. £350
‘TOBY’ CUTEST SMALL 1950S STEIFF BEAR
Toby is a very cute old Steiff from the 1950s. So hard now, to find Steiff bears from this time. He has mohair fur, early realistic plastic eyes, a height of 6.5″ (16cm) no longer has a button or tags. felt is good on his foot pads, tummy squeaker no longer works. ‘Little Lottie’ is a small bear with a huge personality. With her pretty heart-shaped face a very pretty bear. She is from the 1960s with mohair fur, original ribbon, fully jointed, height 6.5″ (16cm) very good for her age, and no longer has a button or tags. ‘’EDDIE’ VERY RARE STEIFF COSY HOCKEY BEAR is hard to find only made for a few years in the 1970s. He is fully jointed, with realistic plastic eyes. Lovely older Steiff zotty bear called ‘floppy Zotty’ He is unjointed with mohair fur. length 8″ (20cm) felt paws to his back feet have airbrush claws. No button, tags, in very good clean condition for age. faint marks inside mouth.
LULLY’ OLD STEIFF BEAR WITH BUTTON IN EAR & STOCK LABEL 0350/32
A lovely example of an older Steiff ‘Lully’ bear. He has mohair fur a jointed head, realistic plastic eyes (non-safety) Height of 12″ (30cm) to the top of his ears. The steiff button in the ear (lentil button) with yellow stock label EAN Number 0350/32 dates him to being made between 1968-1977. Felt to the upper mouth has some faint marks. FRANKY STEIFF BEAR button in ear 1970s
Franky is a very cute Steiff with a lentil Steiff button and yellow stock label (now faded) he is fully jointed, with glass eyes. Height standing 10” (26cm) tummy squeaker does not work. Chirpy is a very cute older Steiff bear with soft ‘draylon’ plush fur, and realistic plastic eyes (non-safety) he is fully jointed. Felt paw pads and mouth are very good for his age.
