‘MAYA’ ENCHANTING OLD GERMAN DIEM BEAR 1950S
Maya is the most enchanting Deam bear you could find. She is just so adorable and in very good condition for her age. She is fully jointed with wool plush fur, glass eyes. Her height standing is 13 “(34cm) She is very clean and all original, with minor signs of age wear. Her limbs are more swingy than new but firmly fixed. ‘CONRAD’ OLD AUSTRIAN BEAR
Conrad is a lovely old character Austrian bear, possibly by Fechter. c.1950s-60s. He has mohair fur, glass eyes, fully jointed. Height standing is 16″ (40cm) no maker label. He has a few small holes in his hand paws and to his lower inner mouth. Slight age wear to his fur, and his limbs are more swingy than when he was new (but are firmly fixed) a trait with older bears. He has lost a few of his nose stitch threads. Overall for his age, he is good. Email for his photo file £60
‘CODY’ OLD GERMAN BEAR c.1950s – 1960s
Cody is an old German bear made after WW2 c1950s-60s with a synthetic plush often used at that time. With glass eyes, a stitched nose and mouth. He is fully jointed, height standing 15″ (39cm) no maker label. Good for age, comes wearing his dungarees. Email for his photo file £40
‘SMIDGE’ AN OLD GERMAN BEAR c.1950s-1960s
Smidge is a really cute older German bear from the 1950s-60s. He has a cute shape and appearance. Plush fur with some wear in places, early realistic plastic eyes. Height standing is 11.5″ (29cm) no maker label. Email for his photo file £20
‘PETRA’ ANTIQUE GERMAN HERMANN BEAR WITH TIPPED MOHAIR
Petra is a wonderful very old bear by Hermann. She has the very sought-after ‘tipped mohair’ fur. She is c. late 1920s-1930s. Fully jointed with glass eyes, original felt paw pads (some age wear to them). Height standing 18″ (46cm) non-working growler. ‘HAMMIE’ OLD 1960s HAMIRO EUROPEAN BEAR
Hammie is a lovely old bear attributed to ‘Hamiro’ c.1960s. He is a big chunky bear with mohair fur, glass eyes. He is fully jointed with a standing height of 20″ (50cm) His tilt growler still works well. He has been well cared for over the years and is good overall for his age. ‘LIZA’ 1950S HERMANN TEDDU ORIGINAL BEAR
Liza is an old German bear by Hermann in the 1950’s. She has blonde mohair fur, glass eyes, felt paw pads, a stitched nose, mouth and claws. Fully jointed, height standing is 15″ (38cm) growler now very quiet more like a small cough. She is clean and good for her age, with some age wear to her fur and paw pads in places. ‘ZINNIA’ RARE LARGE VERY OLD ORANGE GERMAN BEAR
Zinnia is a very rare large antique, very old German bear with orange-coloured fur. She is a very impressive bear, standing height is 29″ (75cm) She is fully jointed with glass eyes, a stitched nose, mouth and claws. Her tilt growler still works well, wood wool stuffing. No maker label, but certainly by a quality maker of the time. Some age to her c.1950s, possibly earlier, with plush fur. Rare to find such a large German bear with this colour, and still in such good original condition. Which is very good for her age and size. Slight wear to her fur under her muzzle and some slight age discolouration in places as she is in original condition. Her felt paws have some small holes in the felt. She is one for the collector of rarer bears, types like her are seldom seen. Email for her photo file £175
‘JOSE’ OLD RICHARD DIEM, GERMAN BEAR c.1950s
Jose is a very hard to find old German bear by the famous maker ‘Richard Diem’ He is a large bear, whose standing height is 19″ (48cm)fully jointed. Jose is an older bear with wool plush fur used after WW2 when mohair was in short supply. He has the unmistakeable look of a Diem with his flat reinforced feet so he can stand. His fur has age faded over the years which is part of his character. He is an adorable very sought after bear, who is for his age in lovely good original condition. Email for his photo file. £90
‘OLLIE’ SUPERB LARGE OLD 1950’S HERMANN BEAR
Ollie is a superb hard to hard-to-find example of a large old 1950’s Hermann teddy original. In really good condition for such an old bear. Fully jointed he stands at 18″ (45cm) He has golden mohair fur, glass eyes, a stitched nose, mouth and claws. With original felt paw pads that have 2 minor areas of wear on to the edge of a foot pad, and one area of wear to a hand paw. He has wood wool filling, growler no longer works, from a smoke-free home. So hard to find these adorable bears now. Email for his photo file. £85
3 ADORABLE OLD DRESSED BEARS 1950S-1960S
An adorable family of very old dressed bears from the 1950s-1960s. They came from Germany, but possibly Austrian-European. The 2 have clothes that are part of them, the largest you can take her dress off. No maker’s tags, but certainly good makers of the time. All are unjointed with glass eyes and mohair fur. The largest has internally wired legs so she can sort of sit with some help! A small hole on the left-hand material. Heights from 14″ to 10″ approx. (36 – 25cm) All are good for their ages, with some wear to the fur and age wear to the clothes see photos. From a non-smoking home.
