‘COOKIE’ 1960S OLD EUROPEAN BEAR
Cookie is a wonderful old 1960s bear from Europe sold in the UK at the time. He has silky plush fur, two colour plastic eyes, is fully jointed. His height standing is 21″ (53cm) Overall in good condition for his age having been well cared for. Some age discolouration to his fur on his white pads. He is a lovely bear with a lovely face. ‘LITTLE PAL’ OLD GERMAN ROD JOINTED SMALL BEAR c.1950s
Little Pal is a very old small pocket sized bear from Germany. c.1950s. He has metal rod jointed limbs and a fixed head. Glass eyes, cotton plush fur popular after WW2 when mohair was in short supply He has a stitched nose, mouth and claws. Height standing is 5″ (12cm) He is small enough to be a companion/mascot bear. For his age he has survived well, with some discolouration to his fur. Few of these small bears are seen now. ADOPTED
‘JOSE’ OLD RICHARD DIEM, GERMAN BEAR c.1950s
Jose is a very hard to find old German bear by the famous maker ‘Richard Diem’ He is a large bear, whose standing height is 19″ (48cm)fully jointed. Jose is an older bear with wool plush fur used after WW2 when mohair was in short supply. He has the unmistakeable look of a Diem with his flat reinforced feet so he can stand. His fur has age faded over the years which is part of his character. He is an adorable very sought after bear, who is for his age in lovely good original condition. Email for his photo file. £145
‘OLLIE’ SUPERB LARGE OLD 1950’S HERMANN BEAR
Ollie is a superb hard to hard-to-find example of a large old 1950’s Hermann teddy original. In really good condition for such an old bear. Fully jointed he stands at 18″ (45cm) He has golden mohair fur, glass eyes, a stitched nose, mouth and claws. With original felt paw pads that have 2 minor areas of wear on to the edge of a foot pad, and one area of wear to a hand paw. He has wood wool filling, growler no longer works, from a smoke-free home. So hard to find these adorable bears now. Email for his photo file. £115
‘TAMMIE’ LARGE OLD HAMIRO BEAR c.1950s-60s
Tammie is a simply charming old Hamiro bear from the 50s-60s. She is such a pretty bear, with the sweetest face. She has mohair fur, glass eyes, is fully jointed, height standing 20 (50CM) her growler is only heard faintly, now and then if you tap her tummy and rock her. Her blonde mohair fur is gently age mellowed but good for her age. A really enchanting bear. Email for her photo file. £75
3 ADORABLE OLD DRESSED BEARS 1950S-1960S
An adorable family of very old dressed bears from the 1950s-1960s. They came from Germany, but possibly Austrian-European. The 2 have clothes that are part of them, the largest you can take her dress off. No makers tags but certainly good makers of the time. All are unjointed with glass eyes and mohair fur. The largest has internally wired legs so she can sort of sit with some help! small hole on the left-hand material. Heights from 14″ -10″ approx. (36 – 25cm) All are good for their ages with some wear to the fur and age wear to the clothes see photos. From a non-smoking home.
