‘HEIMMIE’ OLD GERMAN BEAR c.1940s
Heimmie is a very old German bear from the c.1940s. He has golden mohair fur, glass eyes, is fully jointed. Height standing 20″ (50cm) with professionally recovered felt paw pads. He is a very old bear and has overall age wear to his fur, and a side seam on his tummy has come undone by about 1/2″. No makers tags, but certainly by a good bear maker of the time. He is a lovely old bear who has been very well cared for over the years and loved. Email for his photo file. £95
‘HETTIE’ OLD GERMAN BEAR ATT. EDUCA – EDUARD CRAMER
Hettie is a very special old German bear, attributed to Eduard Cramer (Educa) She comes wearing her old German romper dress with tie top and front pockets. Her height standing is 18″ (45cm) to the top of her ears. She has some age to her c.1960s with soft plush fur, early realistic plastic eyes, fully jointed. She has the very distinctive heart-shaped inset muzzle seen on Educa bears. No maker label, wood wool stuffing, her growler no longer works. Her felt paw pads show some age wear, and one of her eyes has some scuffing. Overall good for her age. Email for her photo file. £225 NOW £150
‘THEODORE’ RARE ANTIQUE LARGE 1920S BEAR 75cm
Theodore is a very impressive large antique bear from the c.1920s-1930s. For his age, he is in fabulous condition. Height standing is 30″ (75cm) with a grey mohair fur, glass eyes, a stitched nose, mouth and claws. His felt paw pads have some wear but are mostly intact. no growler we can hear. He is a heavy bear, wood wool stuffing. Very clean with only minimal wear to his mohair, he is a remarkable bear who has been very well loved and cared for. Email for his photo file £195 NOW £160
‘HERMIE’ OLD HERMANN BEAR 1960s
Hermie is a very cute older Hermann bear from the 1960s. Height standing is 9″ (23cm0 mohair plush fur, glass eyes, felt paw pads, working squeaker. Some wear to his fur on his forehead, back of head and tummy areas. otherwise excellent. Email for his photo file £20 NOW £15
‘HEIDI’ RARE LARGE OLD JOINTED AUSTRIAN ‘BERG’ BEAR WITH TAGS
Heidi is a superb old Austrian bear by the world-famous maker ‘Berg’. Height 20″ (50cm) to the top of her ears. from the 1970s, still has her paper tag in the arm seam with maker’s details and number 114. She is fully jointed with realistic plastic eyes. thick soft plush fur, stitched nose, mouth, and material paw pads. With a working tilt growler. In lovely condition for her age. ‘PASCALE’ LARGE OLD BLUE & WHITE BEAR, POSSIBLY FRENCH. 1950s
Pascale is a very unusual bear with his blue & white woolly plush fur. He is possibly French though he came to us from the UK. He is fully jointed, with glass eyes, his standing height is 22″ (57cm) Overall he has survived very well, though his white fur is now age-discoloured and has some small areas with stains. Photos taken in sunlight make him look a little lighter. He is a lovely, rare bear we have never seen one like him before. Email for his photo file £80 NOW £70
3 ADORABLE OLD DRESSED BEARS 1950S-1960S
An adorable family of very old dressed bears from the 1950s-1960s. They came from Germany, but possibly Austrian-European. The 2 have clothes that are part of them, the largest you can take her dress off. No makers tags but certainly good makers of the time. All are unjointed with glass eyes and mohair fur. The largest has internally wired legs so she can sort of sit with some help! small hole on the left-hand material. Heights from 14″ -10″ approx. (36 – 25cm) All are good for their ages with some wear to the fur and age wear to the clothes see photos. From a non-smoking home.
