‘ROLO’ RARE OLD STEIFF BEAR CUB ON WHEELS, BUTTON IN EAR 1950s – 60s
Rolo is a very rare old Steiff bear cub on wooden wheels from the c.1950s He is a wonderful character in really good condition for his grand age. He also still has his large raised script Steiff button in ear. He has mohair fur, glass eyes, felt paw pads. He is on the older type wooden wheels. His height from the floor to the top of his neck is 9″ (24cm) His length from his nose to the end of his back is 13″ (33cm) He is in really good original condition a seldom seen rare Steiff bear. Some wear to his felt front paw pads that cause him no problem. His wooden wheels are on a metal frame and work well. Email for his photo file £245
‘HECTOR’ ADORABLE LARGE 20″ OLD 1950s STEIFF BEAR
Hector is an adorable large old Steiff bear from the 1950’s. He is an impressive bear with a standing height of 20″(50cm) He is a talkative bear with a loud working tilt growler. He is fully jointed, with glass eyes, a stitched nose, mouth and claws. He has light caramel colour mohair fur, has wood wool stuffing. He has been very well cared for over the years and is in excellent condition for his age. He has a little wear to his mohair around his muzzle, his paw pads have a few small areas of wear. (all minor for his size and age) So hard to find good examples now of these large old Steiff bears. Email for his photo file. £375
‘MAISY’ OLD 1950s STEIFF BEAR
Maisy is a wonderful very old Steiff bear from the c.1950’s. She has a very early look to her with her slim body shape, long hand arms, large feet, and long muzzle. She has a working tilt growler, lovely golden mohair fur. She is fully jointed with a standing height of 13″ (33cm) With wood wool stuffing, realistic plastic eyes. Original felt paw pads that are intact just some age marks on them. She no longer has a button or tags.For her age she is in really good condition, a delightful bear with a pretty face. ‘SQUIFFY’ ADORABLE OLD 1950S STEIFF BEAR, BUTTON IN EAR & STOCK LABEL
Squiffy is the most adorable older Steiff bear from the 1950’s. He is a good sized bear with a standing height of 14″ (36cm) with mohair fur, glass eyes, original felt paw pads. He still has his Steiff button in ear (raised script) with his yellow stock label (some age wear to it, but you can still make out part of his Ean number. He is in really good clean condition. His mohair coverage is really good for his age, some age settling of it and a little loss in places but all just adds to his character. Tummy squeaker no longer works. ‘DUCHESS’ RARE LARGE OLD STEIFF MASK BEAR 1960s – 1970s. BUTTON & STOCK LABEL
Duchess is a seldom seen large 25″ (65cm) old Steiff ‘mask’ teddy bear. Rare to find one in such good original condition, with a button & stock label. Her EAN number is 0202:66 which dates her to being made between 1966-1976. She has thick light brown mohair fur, glass eyes, material paw pads. Her tilt growler still works though quieter than when she was new. Some age marks to her paw pads, some light scuffing to her eyes, her fur is excellent. Slight old bear smell but not unpleasant. So hard to find these large early Steiff mask bears now. Email for her photo file £275
