‘PEONY’ ADORABLE VINTAGE ARTIST BEAR – with baby pink mohair
Peony is an adorable vintage artist bear. She has baby pink mohair, glass eyes, she is weighted so she sits and poses very well. Fully jointed with suede paw pads. Height standing is 17″ (43cm) lost her maker tags but is certainly by a good maker. She has been very well cared for. Email for her photo file £65
‘MAYBE’ A VINTAGE YES-NO LTD EDT BEAR WITH TAGS
Nisbet Yes/No Maybe Bear by Carol-Lynn Rossel Waugh (1989) Limited Edition. ‘Maybe’ is a very pretty vintage limited edition bear who has the unusual ‘Yes – No’ head movement by using her little tail. She can also look up and down. Comes wearing her cute two piece outfit and heart necklace. She has a peach colour mohair plush fur, jointed limbs, and boot button type eyes. Her height standing is 14″ (34cm) Some marks on her paw pads and her dress is slightly discoloured. Has her original swing tag with limited edition details and cloth labels. ‘PURCELL’ FABULOUS LARGE VINTAGE ASQUITHS MOHAIR BEAR
Purcell is a very impressive top quality mohair limited edition bear by the famous English bear maker Asquiths. His height standing is 26″ (65cm) with thick curly blonde mohair, suede paw pads, a stitched nose, mouth and claws. He has his maker’s labels on his back seam that also tell us his name. This was a limited edition of 1000 in the early 1990s. His growler no longer works. Comes wearing his very smart bow tie which was probably added later. ‘MONTE’ SUPERB LARGE BEAR WITH TIPPED MOHAIR
Monte is a fabulous vintage artist bear with striking tipped pale orange/brown mohair. (that looks brighter in photos were taken in sunshine) He is a large bear, standing at 22″(56cm) fully jointed with a shaved muzzle, glass eyes, felt paw pads, and part pellet filled he sits and poses very well. Super soft fur and soft stuffing which makes him a really cuddly bear. Maker’s label on back seam by ‘Jo’s Bear Emporium’ He has some age c.1980s-90s, in very good condition. ‘PIERRE’ UNUSUAL 2 COLOUR ARTIST BEAR
Pierre is a very early looking bear with his long slim body, long arms and build. He has two-colour mohair fur, glass eyes, felt paw pads and is fully jointed. Abigail is a superb large bear from ABC Bears with her tags attached. She also has the distinctive ABC ear tag which also has her name on it. She has pretty honey-brown frosted mohair plush fur and glass eyes. Her height standing is 21″ (54cm) She is made in the early style with a long shaved muzzle, long hand paws, large feet, felt paw pads. A top-quality bear, in very good condition. ‘Captain Bully’ is a rare to find vintage limited edition Nisbet bear with all his tags still in place. Plus his original price label showing £195! He is fully jointed with plush fur, velvet paw pads, a stitched nose, mouth and claws. His height standing is 16″ (40cm) He comes wearing his original DACS scarf with large badge, plus his Captain’s cap. Peter Bull paper swing tag and his limited edition label in his side seam. ‘SHAKEERA’ SUPERB LARGE BEAR WITH TIPPED MOHAIR WITH TAG, VGC
Shakeera is a superb large vintage bear by Lincrafts with label. This impressive bear has tipped mohair ( 2 colours) in a light and dark brown that our camera struggles to capture! She is absolutely beautiful and very well-made. Height standing is 24″ (60cm) with ultra suede paw pads, glass eyes, maker’s label on the shoulder seam. Barney is a top quality artist bear by Lynne Dean. He is a weighted, fully jointed bear with beautiful alpaca fur. He is a special 1 of 1 bear and has his tags. Height standing is 12 “(30cm with ultra suede paw pads and glass eyes. He has flat feet so can stand and has the most adorable face. Very good overall except his fur has some age fading which is hardly noticeable indoors. You can see it more outside so we have taken photos in sunshine. Priced to reflect this. His height is 12″ (31cm) excluding the hat. He has mohair plush fur, glass eyes, and material paw pads. He is part pellet-filled and a quality bear. Some age to him.
