Grizzly is a superb German bear by the famous bear maker ‘Steiner’ He is fully jointed with glass eyes. He has his famous maker’s name tag on his chest, a cloth label on his back seam & swing tag that tells us his name. Height standing is 11” (28cm) This fabulous bear is made to look great standing on all 4 legs or sitting. He is in very good condition, from a smoke-free home, Date he was made 14.10.03. ‘HARLEKIN’ BEAUTIFUL JESTER BEAR WITH TAGS BY TEDDY ATELIER
Harlekin is a very special bear made by the famous, highly regarded bear maker Claudia Stursberg of ‘Teddy Atelier’ She came originally from Germany, and is now living we believe in the UK. As we are not sure where Harlekin was made we have put him on the German Bears page. This stunning bear has two-colour mohair, he is fully jointed with glass eyes. With a stitched nose, mouth, and claws. Height standing 13″ (33cm) He has his maker’s label on his foot pad and swing tag around his neck. This tells us his name. Most of Claudia’s bears are a 1/1 but it is not stated on the label. He has a very eye-catching ruff around his neck and a cute pom-pom on his chest. ‘HAMILTON’ VINTAGE GERMAN BEAR WITH COLLAR BY CLEMANS, LTD EDT WITH TAGS
Hamilton is a very pretty vintage bear by the famous German maker ‘Clemens’ he is a limited edition of 600 made, with all his tags & labels. He is fully jointed with boot button-style eyes, a stitched nose, a mouth, and claws. Height standing is 7″ (17cm) blue mohair fur, original collar, suede paw pads, part pellet filled so he sits and poses very well. In very good clean condition, from a smoke-free home.

‘SARAH & MANNI’ 2 ADORABLE OLD BEARS C.1950S – 1960S
This adorable pair of old bears are thought to have come from Germany after WW2 in the 1950s-60s. They are both similar in size and have mohair fur, glass eyes, material paw pads, and the cutest small tail. Fully jointed they stand at 20″ (50cm) with woodwool stuffing, a stitched nose, and mouth. They have no maker tags but we have had this type before so they were made in some numbers at the time. We have seen them described as a Schuco bear when being sold online but we have never seen one with a label. They are available as a pair or separately. They are from left to right:
‘SARAH’ is in very good original condition with a working tilt growler, and only minimal fur loss see photos. ‘MANNI’ has a growler but it tends to be a quieter bear and it sometimes needs some encouragement. His fur has aged to a darker blond and he has a little more wear to his fur and his pads (but he is still adorable and quite enchanting)

Bodo is a super cute vintage limited edition bear by the famous German maker ‘Clemens’ He is adorable with his blonde mohair fur, glass eyes, felt paw pads, and a stitched nose and mouth. He is fully jointed, His height standing is 11″ (28cm) He comes wearing his removable trousers. He is holding his Goose friend. HANS, HETTIE & HANNA, 3 RARE OLD GERMAN ROD JOINTED SMALL BEARS c.1950s-60s
Rare to find such old German bears in such amazing original condition. They are available separately or as a trio, see details below. They are all made of golden silk plush fur with glass eyes. They are made in the German style with a head that is part of the body, and the limbs are rod-jointed so they both move when one is moved. The heights are 7″ (18cm) and the smaller bear on the right is 6″ (15cm) All are very clean, from a smoke-free home. Amazing to have the set of 3 they are like a family and really adorable.

Sandy is a very sweet vintage Hermann jointed mohair bear with his tags & labels. Height 12″ (30cm) working tilt growler. Gretel is a very unusual vintage German Herman Coburg bear. A limited edition she has her makers tags attached. She is fully jointed, with very realistic plastic eyes. pretty golden mohair, suede paw pads. Height 17″ (43cm) comes wearing her pretty dress and has socks and slippers. FAMILY OF 3 ADORABLE OLD DRESSED BEARS 1950S-1960S
An adorable family of very old dressed bears from the 1950s-1960s. They came from Germany, but possibly Austrian-European. 2 Maybe by Schuco or certainly a maker of that quality. The 2 have clothes that are part of them, the largest you can take her dress off. No makers tags but certainly good makers of the time. All are unjointed with glass eyes and mohair fur. The largest has internally wired legs so she can sort of sit with some help! small hole on the left-hand material. Heights from 14″ -10″ approx.
