‘SPARKLES’ STUNNING LARGE OLD STEIFF BEAR, BUTTON IN EAR
Sparkles is a very special large 20″ (50cm) Steiff bear from the 1950’s. He is in fabulous condition for his age and has his Steiff button in ear (raised script, thin letters) with a working tilt growler. He has an unusual silvery blonde colour mohair fur with a shimmery look. He is a dazzler hence his name. Very clean, from a smoke-free home. felt paw pads are original and very good. Mohair coverage is excellent with some thinning around his muzzle, and the back of his legs. But see photos overall he is a really top class bear with minimal wear for such a large old Steiff. ‘BOBBY’ ADORABLE 1950’S STEIFF BEAR
Bobby is an adorable old Steiff bear from the 1950s. He is in lovely condition for his age. He has mohair fur, glass eyes, is fully jointed. His height standing is 14″ (36cm) with a working tilt growler. (he is a talkative bear) In really good, clean overall condition for his size and age. No button/tags, some age wear to his mohair but with over 90% remaining. His felt foot pads have some repairs to them. He is quite a character and comes wearing his top & scarf. ‘SAMMY’ OLD 1950’S STEIFF BEAR
Sammy is an older Steiff bear with an early body shape from the 1950’s. He is fully jointed with glass eyes, mohair fur. His height standing is 13″ (33cm) no button, his tummy squeaker no longer works. He has a slim body shape, long limbs and a long muzzle. His felt paw pads are very good, his mohair is good overall with some wear on his forehead. Email for his photo file. £175
‘MISSY’ OLD STEIFF MASK BEAR WITH BUTTON & STOCK LABEL c.1960s-70s
Missy is a very pretty older Steiff ‘mask’ bear from the 1960s-70s. She has blonde mohair, glass eyes, is fully jointed. Height standing 15″ (38cm) Steiff lentil button in ear & stock label. Ean number 0201:36 dates her to being made 1968-1990. She has felt paw pads (some age wear marks to them) a working tilt growler. She has some kapok settlement in her upper arms from being held. ‘MARTHA’ 1960S OLD STEIFF ‘MASK BEAR’
Martha is a lovely early Steiff ‘mask bear’ from the 1960’s. She has her own unique character and is a very sweet old Steiff bear. She is fully jointed with early Steiff plastic eyes, height standing is 12″ (30cm) to the top of her ears. She has some age-related wear to her mohair fur, small holes on the felt on her feet, she no longer has a button or tags. Hard to find these early mask bears now. Email for her photo file £75
‘SUNNIE’ LOVELY OLD STEIFF BEAR 1950’S
Sunnie is in lovely condition for her age, dating from the 1950’s. She has golden mohair fur, glass eyes, felt paw pads, fully jointed. Her height standing is 9″ (23cm) squeaker no longer works, no longer has a button or tags. Her hand paw pads felt is very slightly shade darker than the feet felt. So the feet felt may have slightly faded over the years. Or her hand paws have been professionally redone. So well done they look original. But we like to mention what we see. ‘BARNIE’ OLD STEIFF BEAR 1950S WITH CHEST TAG
Barnie is a rare to find, old Steiff bear from the 1950’s who still has his Steiff chest tag and original yellow ribbon. Very few labels have survived on the bears as they were often lost as only attached by string to the bear. Barnie is for his age in really good condition. He has mohair fur, glass eyes, original felt paw pads, a stitched nose, mouth and claws. His height standing is 8″ (21cm) tummy squeaker no longer works and he no longer has his button in ear. 2 OLDER STEIFF ‘COSY’ BEARS 1950s-1960s
Adorable pair of older Steiff bears from the 1960s-70s. Made with a soft draylon plush fur, they are fully jointed with early realistic plastic eyes. They are:-
‘BABY COSY’ she is very good for her age with a Steiff lentil button in ear. height standing 7.5″ (18cm) ‘MUMMY COSY’ is 10″ standing (25cm) no button, stuffing in her body and limbs has gone flat otherwise good for her age. Email for their photo file. Price the pair £40
‘COBBY’ STEIFF ‘MINKY’ BEAR BUTTON IN EAR & STOCK LABEL 1970s
Cobby is a very cute vintage Steiff Minky bear with lentil button in ear and faded stock label. He is fully jointed with plush fur, felt paw pads. height standing 11″ (28cm) squeaker no longer works, good for age. Seldom seen now, we have his brother for sale lower down this page. FRANKY STEIFF BEAR button in ear 1970s
Franky is a very cute Steiff with a lentil Steiff button and yellow stock label (now faded) he is fully jointed, with glass eyes. Height standing 10” (26cm) tummy squeaker does not work. Fur needs a cleaning he is grubby mostly on his head and paws/feet. His ear stitching is loose but his ears are still in place. Felt paw pads have some wear see photos Email for more photos £35
‘CUTIE’ RARE OLD STEIFF BEAR WITH BUTTON IN EAR, STOCK LABEL & CHEST TAG
Cutie is a really cute old Steiff ‘Cosy Teddy’ has his chest label and lentil button and part yellow stock label. Fully jointed with draylon fur, realistic plastic eyes early type non-safety. Height 7” (18cm) original ribbon. Felt paw pads and mouth very good no holes. Overall in very good clean condition a lovely example and very pretty. From a non-smoking home.
